Job Title: Business Analyst/Technical Analyst

Location: Mclean, VA

Duration: 6+ Months Contract

 

What you'll bring with You:

§  Should be adept at writing requirements and documenting analysis summary

§  Should be adept at writing epics/user stories and communicating with business and technical team members

§  Effectively translate business requirements into systems/technical requirements

§  5+ years' experience with writing complex SQL queries

§  5+ years' experience working with relational databases

§  2+ years' experience leading project teams

§  Ability to work both as an individual contributor and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

§  Excellent communication skills; ability to explain technical concepts to a variety of audiences

 

What You'll Get to Do:

§  Work on projects from Business Case creation through to User Acceptance Testing co-ordination, test planning and execution

§  Increase the user experience of their internal administrators

§  Provide a more reliable and regular platform for internal user provisioning and recertification for all their applications to meet an audit compliance mandate.

§  Analysis of the entitlements and metadata for each application

§  Ensure data integrity and development efforts to facilitate successful migration

§  Produce structured functional specification, including experience of User Story

§  Run effective workshops for client business users

§  Critically evaluate information gathered across multiple sources, reconcile variances, and recommend proposals to clients

§  Communicate to a variety of audiences across business function and level and tailor messages appropriately

§  Lead project teams, and help to train and develop their understanding of project management and planning
