Hi ,

Greetings from Uniqsoft INC!!!

Please share resumes to me at surya@uniqsoftinc.com

We have "UI Developer with Angular & API" Open positions at "Houston, TX" – 6 Months Contract Position.

Job Title: UI Developer with Angular & API  (10+ Yrs Resumes)

Location: Houston, TX

Position type: Long Term Contract

Rate: DOE

Start: Immediate

Job Description:

This person will be developing new web apps written completely in Angular.

"We are looking for someone, hands on, in Typescript and can learn new JavaScript frameworks quickly.

All backend components are in .NET Core, for Web API's.

This person will focus on UI Angular development 70% of the time and 30% of the time on API development".

Responsibilities:

What business problem is this team trying to solve? Due to customers' demands, they are in the process of expanding the RigCloud (Azure) platform as a service offering by developing new applications and services within the platform.

This is "commercial grade application" where quality is focus.

These applications within the platform are streaming live data, from the drilling rigs, onto numerous platforms.

What are this person's primary duties?

Developing UI components in Angular 9

Developing REST API's in .NET Core

Developing screens and workflows in Angular

What does a typical day look like? This role is 90% hands to keyboard coding, building new apps within RigCloud.

This team works 45-50 hours a week and some weekends during release time.

This is NOT a 9-5 job.

Candidates need to know this and be comfortable with this.

This person will need to be local to Houston/Texas, as they will be in the office starting day one.

After joining, there is some flexibility for remote work (a few days a week) but once COVID is over, this person will be in the office.

Requirements:

What core skills are required?

Angular 8+(Client is currently on Angular 9)

Developing REST API's in .NET Core

The role is 75% UI development focused, as this is where the inefficiency on this team is.

API development is still very important, but candidates should be working on front-end development focused roles for the past 1-2 projects.

Why? Technology in the front-end/ UI space is constantly changing.

If someone worked on a UI focused projected a couple years ago, then they already will be out of date on current tools and technologies.
