LifeRay Technical Lead/Architect

Location: East Rochester – NY

Contract

 

Key Qualifications:

• Hands on Application Development and Unit testing. Absolute requirement of coding portlets and configuring Liferay DXP. Also mentor rest the team on best practices of Liferay.
• Work with customer and other teams to collect, analyze and understand the requirements
• Provide timely delivery of the code and be proactive in identifying areas of improvement and provide appropriate suggestions
• Be part of the architecture discussions and planning/design review meetings
• Develop, deploy, and maintain projects in accordance to the Agile or Waterfall models
• Participate in every production release and provide support to the business for the functional checkout of the application.
• Responsible for code quality and adherence to standards
• Report status against the project plan and Possess ability to communicate clearly with project team
• Able to work some flexible hours, as required by Project Manager, to meet project deadlines.

 

Must have skills:

Liferay DXP, Liferay MVC, Java 8 and higher, JUnit, J2EE concepts , Application Server (Preferably WAS 9), SCM: Mercurial (Or GIT), Maven, Web Services - SOAP / REST, Log 4j , SOAP UI /Load UI

 

Desired skills:

Spring MVC (3.x and higher), Hibernate, JPA, Query DSL, Oracle and SQL queries, Portal lifecycle (Liferay preferred), Bootstrap, JQuery, HTML5, CSS3, Healthcare Facets knowledge
