POSITION

Test Architect

Long Island, NY

6-12 months contract

Responsibilities

• Takes initiative and leads test automation efforts, performs as a mentor and helps grow a positive, productive work team.
• Participates in defining automation strategy and applying appropriate automation technologies to meet the short and long term goals of QA department.
• Responsible for developing and maintaining test automation frameworks, solutions and automated test scripts
• Review requirement specifications and technical design documents to create test scripts and test plans.
• Participate in design and code inspections.
• Perform manual testing, the scope of which will encompass all functionalities of services as a prequel to automation.
• Analyze test logs; create test reports, coordinate with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with development and cross functional teams to troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis.
• Add business value to Agile teams through proactive participation in all phases of Agile development

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Selenium, Python and AWS
• Experience in unit testing, performance testing
• Experience in API testing
• Experience in database testing
• Experience with automation testing on Web Application and Web Service testing (RESTful)
• Experience with working on Linux environment
• Experience with Python programming and using Automation React, Python-based frameworks
• Experience with automation testing using Selenium and DevTest Solutions
• Experience with automation testing using Shell Scripting on Linux
• Familiar with Agile methodologies
• 2-3 years in QA lead position
