Mission

Bill.com is seeking a front end engineer who will take our product from our dated server-side UI to a modern client side framework.  With your wealth of knowledge on Angular, you will bring out the best of our UX and provide our customers the best experience possible. You will be expected to be mindful of time to first interaction, ADA, and other best practices for UIs. One thing is for certain - you are passionate about providing customers a beautiful and easy to use UI experience. The candidate will be a member of the Frontend UI development team.

 

Key Responsibilities

5+ years of relevant experience with a product development team

Experience working on large scale, complex applications using Java and JS technologies.

Hands-on experience and expertise with at least one modern JS framework (Angular, Vue.js, React, Aurelia, Backbone etc)

Excellent teamwork and communication

Experience with HTML 5, CSS3, CDN, Web Components

Understanding of SOAP / REST, server side framework like Node.js and Graphql

 

 

Key Requirements

5+ years of development experience as a full stack or UI developer

5+ years experience in Javascript (ES6) and TypeScript, including writing cross-browser code

Deep knowledge of Angular practices and commonly used modules based on extensive work experience

Professional, precise communication skills

Knowledge of build systems for SPA - webpack, ES6 transpilers, CSS frameworks

Web: HTML(5), CSS(3),CDN, Web Components

BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field

Competencies (Attributes Needed to be Successful in Role)

Functional/Technical Expertise

Experience with AWS and Fintech is a plus

Learning Mindset - willing to learn a new domain while building on experiences
