Position: Data Modeler
Location: REMOTE
Longevity: 6 months
Travel: when needed
Openings: 1
Start: Immediately
Notes: All submittals must be willing to convert after 6 months.
 
• Ability to review, document and validate existing system data structures and build data model and data dictionary for these systems.
• Ability to facilitate meetings with system owners and IT leads to capture the application system data use
• Ability to synthesize disparate systems performing similar functions and propose integration approaches, communicate the pro/cons with business stakeholders
• Ability to build OLTP type data models
• Ability to define API for data integration
• Ability to profile existing systems to identify obsolete data tables and fields as part of system consolidation
• Ability to match As-Is to a proposed To-Be data model, and work with stakeholders to account for gaps in the To-Be data model.
• Experience using a data modeling tool, such as ER/Win or others.
• Experience with Visio
• Microsoft Excel and Word
