Role: Business Analyst
Location: Sterling, VA
Duration:12+ Months
Your future duties and responsibilities
- Support the process for development and rollout of new features for a customer-facing product
- Identify opportunities for product and process improvements
- Define requirements for software enhancements by working with business, technology and infosec stakeholders, and document those requirements in User Stories.
- Ensure that features are implemented as defined in acceptance criteria by testing, identifying and tracking defects to resolution
- Track progress of the planned and completed work by updating JIRA as features and stories are completed
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
6+ years of relevant experience
- Experience working in an Agile delivery team
- Strong technical documentation skills with expertise in backlog grooming, writing user stories with detailed acceptance criteria
- Experience in documenting business and system processes with flow diagrams, sequence diagrams
- Experience writing and executing complex SQL queries
- Experience with testing front-end applications
- Experience with documenting test plan, test strategy, defect summary and test summary reports
