  Senior Data Center Architect

LOCATION_- Milpitas, CA- Locals requried

 $60-$65/hr on c2c

 

We require a Senior Data Center Architect/ Lead with deep expertise in data center strategy and transformation. This role is critical to evaluating and executing the migration of the Data Center to either a co-location facility or a newly built in-house infrastructure.

 

 Key Responsibilities

• Data Center Assessment & Strategy

• Lead the evaluation of existing DC infrastructure.
• Assess feasibility and ROI of co-location vs. in-house build options.
• Develop a comprehensive migration strategy aligned with customer's business goals.

• Stakeholder Engagement

• Collaborate closely with the customer's POC to understand business vision and technical requirements.
• Act as the primary liaison between customer stakeholders  

• Technical Leadership

• Support in design, planning, and execution. Involve HCLtech COE as needed.
• Provide architectural guidance and ensure alignment with industry best practices.

• Project Oversight

• Oversee progress of the data center migration initiative.
• Guide and support   Project Manager throughout the lifecycle of the project.
• Ensure timely delivery of milestones and risk mitigation.

• Cloud Enablement

• Establish a sandbox cloud environment to support engineering and testing needs.
• Define governance and access controls for sandbox usage.

• Strategic Alignment

• Align IT strategy with customer's long-term business vision.
• Drive enterprise-wide transformation through infrastructure modernization.
