Title :ServiceNow Business Analyst
Location : Charlotte, Raleigh, Wilson, Atlanta GA- Only locals
Role Overview:
The ServiceNow platform team is seeking a Business Analyst with deep ServiceNow expertise to address process inefficiencies and accelerate delivery. The current environment is impacted by fragmented and inconsistent processes, particularly in story refinement, requirements quality, and release deliverables. This BA will play a critical role in streamlining workflows, ensuring requirement clarity, and strengthening release governance.
Key Responsibilities:
· Analyze, document, and streamline current-state processes across story refinement, requirements, and release deliverables.
· Collaborate with platform engineers, release managers, and governance stakeholders to improve throughput and reduce rework.
· Define and document high-quality business and functional requirements to accelerate story readiness.
· Ensure governance deliverables and release artifacts are complete, accurate, and compliant with internal controls and audit requirements.
· Support backlog burn-down efforts by enabling faster cycle times through improved requirement clarity and actionable documentation.
· Act as a bridge between business needs and technical implementation on the ServiceNow platform.
· Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities in the requirement and release management lifecycle.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
· Proven experience as a Business Analyst with strong hands-on exposure to ServiceNow (platform processes, workflows, and governance).
· Deep understanding of Agile delivery processes (story refinement, backlog management, release planning).
· Experience in release governance, compliance, and audit deliverables within a regulated environment.
· Strong documentation skills (process flows, business/functional requirements, release artifacts).
· Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (engineering, release management, governance, and audit).
· Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on reducing cycle time and improving throughput.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder alignment and clarity.
Preferred:
· Experience supporting ServiceNow platform teams in large, complex organizations.
· Background in ITIL processes and IT Service Management (ITSM).
· Familiarity with compliance and audit requirements for enterprise platform
· Who can run the group to manage the backlog.
