Job Title         :           Sr Flash-Flex Application Developer

Location        :            Lawrenceville, NJ
Duration       :            3-6 Month contract

GreenCard or US Citizens

 

Interview Process: Phone interview first, the in-person (no Skype at all)

 

1) Verbal Questions: Technical questions to identify and establish assessment of Flex and the mx:Framework knowledge. These questions are typically seen in the Flex certification exams. Questions will also provide analysis of candidate's deductive thinking. (Duration: 30 - 60min)
2) Code Walk through: Candidate will present code samples that best represent his/her own implementations of solutions, techniques, and/or architectures(Duration: 30 - 60 min)

 

Code samples (non-proprietary parts of client projects, authored open-source, etc) are required.
Candidates should be prepared to discuss their samples, their logic, and challenges to on-the-fly code changes.Also required are VOIP headsets; to be used during GotoMeeting-based code walkthroughs

 

Detail Job Description:
Senior Flex developer position on team(s) developing version 2.x of the SiriusXM Internet Radio.

 

Developer senior skills required:
Flex framework
Flex data binding
SwizIoC
MVVM architectures
Dataservices using AMF, JSON, and XML
FlexUnit

 

Environment:    Flex 4.6 SDK with Spark components. Extensive use of Swiz [1.4.x] IoC framework, custom processors, and BabelFx localization
Dataservices:   AWS instances providing AMF, JSON, and XML data services
Requirements:  Must understand Flex, Spark, Databinding, Validation, Swiz, Components, FlexUnit, and MVVM architectures, AMF, JSON, XML
