The Conversion Developer will be responsible for the data mapping design, programming transformation routines, testing and problem resolution utilizing data migration application technologies. The position is a long-term role and he/she will participate in the development of coding standards, reviewing designs and unit testing code, assisting other team members, meeting the schedule for Data Conversion, interfacing with the client and other Accenture teams to facilitate the Data Conversion process, as well as accountable for the overall conversion of data from the legacy data sources into the target database. 

Major Responsibilities: 
1. Design, build, and test conversion and validation programs 
2. Application programming (ETL Tools) 
3. Database programming in PL/SQL 
4. Verify that Peer Reviews are conducted according to Quality Assurance processes 
5. Testing and bug-fixing throughout the lifecycle of the application (unit test, integration test, system test, user acceptance) 
6. Diagnosis and resolution of system issues identified throughout the lifecycle of the application 
7. Collaborate with business analysts, functional experts, and team members throughout the software development lifecycle 

Additional skills that may be applied during the role include Object Oriented Design using UML, Java programming, HTML, Javascript, Spring Framework, Spring MVC, JSPs, JDBC, and PL/SQL stored procedures. Software packages that may be used include Oracle WebLogic, Eclipse IDE,Oracle Database, Oracle Reports, and ILog JRules. 

1+ years programming in SQL, PL/SQL, SQL Loader, UTL File, and/or DBMS packages 
1+ years programming in any procedural language 
Understanding of application testing concepts, application development lifecycle 
Experience in data validation and cleansing techniques 

1 year experience on a systems integration project with involvement in all phases of the SDLC 
1 year experience with SQL IDE software like BMC SQL Programmer, Quest TOAD, or Oracle SQL Plus 
1 year experience in Java and related technologies such as: J2EE (Java 2 Enterprise Edition), Spring Framework, JSP (Java Server Pages) Programming and Configuration, and JDBC (Java Database Connectivity) 

Automated ETL Tools: Oracle Warehouse Builder (OWB), Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 
Reports Development:, Oracle Reports 
Data Warehouse and Metadata Management: Oracle Business Intelligence 
Database Management Systems: Mainframe, MS SQL Server, IBM DB2, Oracle 
MS Excel, MS Access 

1. Proven ability to work independently and as a team member 
2. Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills 
3. Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills 
4. Ability to be flexible and analytical in a problem-solving environment
