Citrix VDI Desktop Admin 
Irving, TX 
2 year contract 

Infrastructure Administrator for Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) Services within the Desktop Services Organization. Duties will include managing the business requirements for VDI Services, maintaining vendor relationships, and working with the Desktop Engineering and Delivery Teams to deliver projects pertaining to VDI. Other responsibilities will include maintaining all project management processes, including reports on project goals, deadlines, metrics and budget. 
Knowledge and experience working within an Enterprise Infrastructure Team, specifically Desktop Services (Preferred) 
Knowledge and experience supporting Citrix Xen App and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), a plus 
Gather requirements from business units and translate those to customers, programmers and infrastructure administrators 
Consult with service owners, management, vendors, and engineers to assess the project needs and business requirements 
Meet with department heads, managers, supervisors, vendors, and others, to solicit cooperation and resolve problems 
Manage SharePoint workflows and SharePoint site that supports the framework for VDI Services 
Coordinate and link the computer systems within an organization to increase compatibility and so information can be shared 
Consult with management to ensure agreement on service principles 
Expand or modify the service to serve new purposes or improve work flow
