The Senior Software Engineer will:

 

·         Support and assist with rewrite of the current Global Planning system

·         Work with the team of developers in designing and developing java based solutions

·         Develop dynamic Web Services for servicing data elements

·         Assist in the estimation, planning, and management of work within Client Agile Methodology (FAM)

·         Work closely with the product line architect, business analysts, database developers, Java developers, ETL developers, QA testers, and administration groups to understand requirements and develop appropriate solutions that are right-sized, and scalable

·         Produce clear, concise design documentation and reviews to facilitate quality assurance testing 

 

Key Requirements:

 

·         A minimum of 5 years of Java and J2EE programming experience

·         Strong understanding and experience with object-oriented programming concepts and design patterns

·         Good understanding and experience developing Web Services

·         Experience working with ubiquitous open source tools such as Spring, iBatis, log4j

·         Experience with Oracle database and SQL

·         Experience working in a distributed team

·         Agile methodology experience is a plus

·         Knowledge of Python is a plus
