Title: Business Objects (BOBJ) Security Consultant

Location: Boston, MA

Duration: 2-3+ Months

 

Job Description:

Looking for hands on work and hands on experience with trouble-shooting BOE errors, adjusting BOE security, understanding integration with BEX queries, and upgrading from SP02 to SP04 and SP05.

 

Environment

•Business Objects SP04 Patch 2

•Using WEBI and some use of Rich Client

•Connected to SAP BW 7.0 using BEX queries

 

Activities

·         Assist project team with resolving defects raised during user test

·         BOE security issues (e.g. folder access and other BOE functionality by expert and view level roles)

·         Java exceptions

·         Lead an upgrade from SP04 Patch 2 to SP05 Patch 5

·         Help analyze release notes

·         Document and perform upgrade in all environments

·         Cross train SAP Basis team on BOE administration and security
