Position: Techno Functional People Soft consultant
Location: Annapolis, MD
Duration: 12 months
Candidates to support:
Functional support for diagnosing and resolving issues reported by users;
Support for ongoing end user training efforts;
Technical support for documenting, reverse engineering, and supporting custom integrations with other systems at the clients site;
Support for PeopleSoft security architecture and administration;
Development support for reporting, workflow, and systems configuration changes and maintenance;
Assessment of the existing implementation, from both a technical and business process perspective to optimize system performance and determine if modifications can improve system efficiency.
Knowledge transfer to selected clients' staff as required;
System Management and Governance:
Assist Clients' staff to establish effective governance structures, including change management and application security;
Develop, in conjunction with clients' staff, a project plan and schedule to upgrade the financial modules to release 9.2.
Provide guidance and mentoring to State management, as needed, in the effective stewardship of processes surrounding the use of the PeopleSoft product.
The following represent the type of task and/or deliverable expected from this engagement. It is not intended to be comprehensive, but to provide additional insight into the nature of the desired services/deliverables.
· Establish an efficient intake process for the reporting of user issues, issue triage, and resolution;
· Review the existing technical environment / infrastructure to determine any changes that might bring increased performance, efficiency or stability;
· Review the existing implementation of the product as used to support business functions to determine if modifications can result in more efficient work processes;
· Determine the functional and technical roles needed to provide responsive support of the existing environment and assess the staffing options to satisfy those needs;
· Complete system configuration and workflow changes;
· Develop customized processes or reports as needed;
· Understand, document, and effect knowledge transfer of existing integration functions
· Develop an overall system maintenance strategy with roles and staffing levels, environments needed, testing strategies / staff, customer support, etc.;
· Develop comprehensive plan to upgrade to release 9.2;
· Work with personnel implementing the PeopleSoft HCM module(s) to ensure proper integration and coordination;
· Develop materials and provide ongoing training to judiciary users as needed;
· Develop materials and provide training for knowledge transfer to clients' staff as needed;
· Develop system governance, configuration, and change processes.
· Perform functional analysis of requested system changes and enhancements as needed;
· Provide testing support of system changes;
The skill sets sought for this engagement include:
·Business analysis / training / customer support for all functionality noted in section 2.1;
·Systems / infrastructure tuning of Peoplesoft systems;
·PeopleSoft systems and security administration / configuration;
·PeopleTools / PeopleCode development;
·Integration of PeopleSoft with external systems;
·PeopleSoft application management.
·PeopleSoft experience in developing customized financial system applications,preferred
