Job Description :-

 

NOTES: They are ready to hire this role. The project kicking off Tuesday 1/19.

Building a team for a new product

Business line is SPSC (seed production supply chain)

This is a big data repository/data dictionary – heavy data focus of all roles – this will provide real time reporting for the business using PowerBI

EDP Engineer job duties

• EDP Engineer – support their enterprise data platform team
• Setup the Azure data platform – should be familiar with azure tech stack including ADS, Azure Data Warehouse, Azure Data Factory
• They will be pulling the data together, setup logging and monitoring of certain data processes, log any data errors and monitor those, ensure data accuracy (check if the processes meet business rules set by the data - need to be logged and monitored
• This person will be responsible for setting up plumbing work and the foundation in Azure for the data environment and ensure it is following the data architecture team's standards
• They will have a DevOps Engineer with partial allocation to this team that will setup the pipelines and infrastructure.

 

Must Haves for Submittal/Smart Questions:

• What is your experience with Azure? Have you setup a new environment for a new data repository in Azure? If so, tell me about your experience. MUST HAVE AZURE EXP
• What is your experience with Azure Data Warehouse? Have you setup from scratch?
• What is your experience with Azure Data Factory?
• Have you worked with Azure Data Bricks?
• Have you built automated pipelines using SSIS, PowerShell, Azure Data Factory and Data modeling?
