Required Skills and Responsibilities:

 

1)     Ambitious - drives teams with a sense of urgency and demonstrates managerial courage to get things accomplished in a matrix management organization.

 

2)     Self-Starter -- Works at a fast past yet is methodical and organized. Action oriented and leads teams to work across the organization. Works well alone with minimal direction from project sponsor.

 

3)     Experienced with large organizations and can effectively manage politics and gain alignment with minimal support from project sponsor. Experience working with first and second level IT managers.

 

4)     Command Skills - demonstrates ability to influence resources not under his or her direct reporting structure.

 

5)     Drives clear and concise program reporting, both written and oral, to management peers for weekly and monthly project updates.

 

6)     Personally accountable for the project administrative skills, including the "key strokes and mouse clicks", to communicate and report for the project - will not rely on an administrative or project assistant to be successful in this role. Therefore, must be highly proficient and independent in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc. Administrative skills/tasks are documented below but not limited to this skill/task list:

 

a)     Clarity Data Management

 

b)     Timeline Consolidation and Tracking (for all WP Leads)

 

i)       Analyzing Timeline for Gaps

 

ii)     Determining Risks

RPLAN Updates

 

c)     Management Report Preparation

 

d)     Scope Documentation (typing) and updates (version controlling)

 

e)     Budget Tracking (Plan vs. Actual) and Reporting

 

f)       Meeting Invites

 

g)     Meeting Minutes

 

h)     Report Preparation (Ad-hoc PowerPoint)

 

i)       Meeting with IT Leads

 

ii)     Data Analysis upon Request

 

iii)     Miscellaneous Documentation upon request
