Our Client is looking for  QA / QC Analyst(Tester) - Bakersfield, CA . This is a 3 months contract position. There are 3 openings. They want someone who has hands on testing experience on Data, also knows Data warehousing. Their Database is SQL.

 

Functional in the following Languages/Tools:

·         SharePoint

·         Visual Studio 2005, 2008

·         SOA

·         Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle (SQL/TSQL)

·         Remedy (Incident and Change Management)

·         Agile Scrum

·         Data warehousing methodologies and architecture

·         Software quality assurance

·         TFS

·         ETL Tools.

 

Requirements:

·         Testing experience on data-warehousing projects.

·         Good communication (and interpersonal) skills to work directly with customer.

·         Data architecture experience.  Understanding of data-warehousing concepts (e.g. Inmon/Kimball).

·         Excellent SQL querying skills (SQL Server and Oracle).

·         Ability to quickly understand database models, data-manipulation logic, and source-to-target mappings.

·         Experience in writing test plans, and execute data-intensive testing.  Ability to follow defect workflow through to resolution.

·         Manage test scripts and SSIS packages for reuse in TFS

·         Document bug tracking in TFS

·         Knowledge of deployment processes across environments (Dev, Test, Production, etc.).

·         Contribute to user documentation with the Business Analyst (as needed)

·         Oil/gas experience a plus.
