Role: Sr. Storage Ops Specialist
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Duration: 6 months – can be extended
Rate: Negotiable

Visa Type: Only GC/US Citizens

 

Qualifications:

Purpose:  Solid Senior Storage Operations resource:                           

- Ins and Outs of EMC VMAX/VMAXe – FAST, FAST VP, Thin Provisioning, etc
- NTAP would be "extra credit"; IBM would be "extra-extra credit"

•  Data Migrations – including our product sets and VMWare as a migration agent
•  Performance tuning
•  Strong knowledge of ESX storage configurations – OS's Windows and Linux
o Nice-to-have storage configurations for HP-UX, AIX, OpenVMS

Tasks: Storage to Storage Migration, Performance Tuning, Storage Allocation,

Skills Required:

Hardware:  V-MAX
Software:  FAST
Other   Skills: VMAXe, FAST VP, thin provisioning
Skills Nice to have: netapp, IBM, HP-UX, AIX, OpenVMS
Skills OS:  Windows, Linux, VMWare, VMWare ESX
