Data Modeler

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for an Applications Developer for a contractassignment with one of our premier financial clients in Chicago, IL.

Responsibilities:

• The requisition is for a Data Modeler who will be responsible for designing and implementing Logical and Physical Data Models supporting Commercial Card Applications; documenting conceptual data models, maintaining data dictionaries, following standards and best practices.
• This role is required to Analyze, design and implement high quality transactional and warehousing models on Teradata and Oracle, working closely with Application and Data Architects, Business Analysts, Developers, QA and end users

Required Skills:

• Data Analysis
• Data Modeling in Erwin
• Database Design and SQL
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Strong Client interface skills
• Experience with SDLC including requirements gathering, documentation testing and knowledge transfer
• Working experience with ETL and BI tools
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Database Platforms Oracle Expert 9-10 Currently Using
• Protocols SQL Server Expert 9-10 Currently Using
• Specialties Application Development Intermediate 7-8 Within 6 Months
• Specialties Credit Card Intermediate 7-8 Within 2 Years
• Specialties SQL Query Expert 9-10 Currently Using
