Job Title : Project Manager with Windows 7 Migration exp

Location : Orlando, FL ; Local candidates preferred. Must be willing to travel to customer sites as needed.

Duration : 6+ months

 

Description :

 

Ø  Responsible for the coordination and completion of projects within the information technology department.

Ø  Oversees all aspects of projects.

Ø  Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project.

Ø  Builds and maintains working relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments involved in the projects.

Ø  Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project.

Ø  May require a bachelors degree and at least 7 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

Ø  Familiar with a variety of the fields concepts, practices, and procedures.

Ø  Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Ø  Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others.

Ø  A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Ø  Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.

Ø  Experience in successfully delivering technical IT projects.

Ø  A technical project facilitator/manager is needed for the Windows 7 upgrade project.

Ø  This individual will need to work with a business project manager to accomplish a timely and less interruptive upgrade to the business.

Ø  Individual must create and manage project plan, manage all testing of hardware and software within multiple locations across the US to support the overall Windows project upgrade.

 

 

Requirements:

Windows 7 Migration experience.
Project Management background.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience using SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio.
